Trademark Usage Guide
The word “MultiSpeak” and all MultiSpeak graphic logos are trademarks. The trademarks are owned by the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association (NRECA). You may use the trademarks only if you have executed a current trademark license with NRECA.
A trademark license costs $5,000/year; however, current Vendor members of MultiSpeak get a $5,000/year credit towards this license fee.
Execution of the license agreement entitles the licensee to use the word MultiSpeak and all of the logos to which he is entitled in accordance with the terms of the license agreement. This includes use of the compliant product logos for up to one product that has passed compliance testing.
You do not need to be a current member of MultiSpeak in order to use the trademarks; however, you must have executed a trademark license agreement with NRECA. Regardless, you will not have the right to use the “MultiSpeak Participant” or “MultiSpeak Software Developer” logos if you are not a member of MultiSpeak. If you execute a trademark agreement without being a Vendor member of MultiSpeak, you will be required to pay the entire $5,000/year license fee.
